Module

Cases

A case contains all details about a patient and their procedure on a given day. The Cases module is included in every MonitOP installation and forms the basis for all other modules. You decide which details are recorded.

Features

  • Case list

The case list shows all cases of a day. Above it, the action bar shows the status of the day, e.g. whether the planning is complete and signed off. The calendar shows the number of cases, slots and blockers per day. The search finds any case again.

  • The case

Each case contains the details your organisation needs, structured into master data, procedure, anaesthesia, staff, further details, complications and hospitalisation. Missing mandatory fields are highlighted and counted in the case list.

  • Create, edit and cancel cases

Record cases directly in MonitOP or take them over automatically via an HL7 interface, e.g. from SAP. A cancellation is documented with a reason; the case remains available and traceable.

  • Message centre

Together with the Forms module, the message centre shows all emails and text messages a patient has received, e.g. admission reminders or form links, including the delivery status.

  • Third-party systems

Link MonitOP with other systems of your organisation, e.g. an image viewer (PACS) or internal websites. Where supported, you open the patient of the current case directly.

  • Data export

Export all recorded data as an XLSX file, create a PDF report for individual surgeons and submit your data to the Swiss anaesthesia quality register A-QUA.

  • Administration

In the administration you manage users, roles and master data and trace the messages sent. MonitOP runs securely in the Swiss cloud and in the browser, on a PC as well as on an iPad.
